Helen Wendling, 86, of Edmond, OK passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Helen was born on April 16, 1926 in Dunellen, NJ to Stanley and Salomea Pogorzelski, and lived the majority of her adult life in Bronx, NY. Helen moved to Edmond in May 1996. Her husband, John Wendling, two brothers, a sister and a grandson precede her in death. Her daughter, Helene Montgomery and her husband David, of Ardmore, OK; son, John Wendling and his wife Vicki, of Edmond, OK; daughter Joan Middleton and her husband George, of Edmond, OK; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews survive Helen. Services will be held at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK.
