Jan was such a special person, always with a smile and a hug! I knew Jan from our childhood when both our families attended Zion in Guthrie, prior to Peace being established! I remember many Sundays spending time at the Joneses after attending Peace services—fond memories!

God’s comfort to each of you, especially David and Carrie!

I am sorry to learn of Janibeth’s passing. We were very good friends in high school. I was even one of her bridesmaids in her wedding. We often corresponded with a Christmas card although we haven’t seen each other in many years. I pray that the Lord God will comfort David, Carrie, and all the family at this difficult time. May God bless you. With love, Peggy Cornelison Parker.

Our friendship goes back to the years when we both had babes in arms—and Jan and Dave befriended us as we were involved in ministry at Peace Lutheran. Jan’s support of JoAnn as a young mother was absolute and willingly offered and we have loved them both over the years and miles. We are saddened by her death and give her over to God—the One who welcomes her with open arms in the life that has no end.
