Helen was born January 18, 1932 in Bray, Oklahoma and went to be with her LORD on May 12, 2018. She lived in the Edmond area for about 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry Emmett and Florence Potts, brother Truman Potts and sister Lillian Huddleston. She was also preceded by her husbands, John Huddleston in 1979 and Delmar Groat in 2015.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Crutcher of Chickasha, brother, Frank Potts and wife Erma of Bray, son, Daniel Huddleston and wife Kholi of Edmond, daughter, Judy Wood and husband Fred of Edmond, daughter Donna Hayles and husband Dale of Lexington, 8 grandchildren: Lisa Kirk, Brian and Derrick Huddleston, Franklin and John Wood, Libby Wood-Bowman, Katrina Smedley and Bobby Hayles, 17 great-grandchildren: Caleb, Pennelope, Ella, Daniel, Nathan, Tracy, Fischer, Esther, Garrison, Hudson, Hope, Ila Kate, Annsleigh, Hannah, Brooklyn, Oaklyn, and Jordan. She is also survived by many other wonderful family and church family members, and very special friends who loved and encouraged her.

Viewing will be held on Friday, May 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Westwood Church of Christ in Edmond, OK with interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Noble Cemetery in Noble, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Search Program.
