Roulston, HardyHardy Roulston, 84, died Friday, July 21, 2017 in Oklahoma City at OU Medical Center.  He was born May 6, 1933, in Vamoosa, OK, to Zachary and Lessie Roulston.  He had 10 brothers and 4 sisters; only 3 brothers are still living; Doyle of Oklahoma City, Tony of Tecumseh, and Hiram of Sasakwa.  He graduated from Sasakwa HS and served in both the Navy and Air Force, each for four year terms.  He then worked at Tinker for 38 years, retiring in 1989.  He lived the majority of his life in Midwest City and Edmond.  He was an avid sports enthusiast, coaching little league baseball teams for his son, and softball for his daughter.  He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing tennis and softball.  He enjoyed attending games for the Oklahoma State Cowboys and supported the Okc Thunder Basketball Team. He was a 32nd degree Mason for 50 years and a member of Village Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Peggy of 60 years. They were married on April 5, 1957 in Davis, OK.  They had 2 children Bryan and Pam.  Bryan lives in Midwest City with his wife Jacqui. They have four children, Hardy’s grandchildren: Jennifer Proctor who lives with her husband Cody in Midwest City, Lindsey Cox of Moore, Zach Roulston who lives in Edmond with his wife Tabatha, and Courtney Roulston of Midwest City.  Hardy’s daughter Pam Dale lives in Sapulpa with her husband Bob.  She has two children, Hardy’s grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen of Bethany and daughter Jillian Binkley who lives with her husband Chris in Bethany.  Hardy has a total of 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren: Gabe, Chloe, Grayson, Cameron, Cayedon, and Xoe.

Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond will be having a Family First Viewing for Hardy’s immediate family at 10 a.m. Monday, July 24. Public Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Monday.  The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25 at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond.  The eulogy will be given by Rev. Johnny Jennings, retired Associate Pastor at Village Baptist Church. The pallbearers will be Hardy’s nephews, Robert, Kent, Thad, Rowdy, Kip and Ricky Roulston.  Hardy will be buried at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, and a reception will follow at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond.
