Bill and I are saddened to learn of Joy’s passing. We loved her so much.
It was a blessing to teach with her in Crescent for many years. She taught us much by her faithful and joyful spirit. Taking her students to the Crescent Nursing Center was an inspiration–we are sure many children learned the gift of compassion as they talked and read to the residents there. She was an awesome teacher and a remarkable person.
    Our prayers are with you.

  2. Russell and the kids, love you guys and deeply saddened by your loss, we send our love to wrap around you. The definition of joy is Joy Leazer, she was the ultimate in hospitality, she was one of the best examples of what a Christian woman should be like, this world was truly blessed to have her here for this time in history. love you guys, Ron and Dana Talbert.
