Gregory Anthony Rose
Greg was born in Detroit on November 9th, 1952 to Elden and Marie Rose. He married Cathie Frechette Rose on December 8th, 1973. After living in Michigan for many years, Greg and his family settled in Edmond, Oklahoma in 1997. Greg passed away at home on June 7, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. His memory will live on in his family: wife Cathie; children Rebecca and partner Justin, Thomas and wife Ashley, James and partner Bailey; grandchildren Austin 22, Dillon 15, Elden 14, Arlo 12, Jeron 12, Jax 11, Ty 10, Oren 9, Elsa 7 and Tavish Gregory 5. Family, of course, was always a high priority. Socializing with a diverse group of friends highlighted his quirky sense of humor & sharp wit, congenial nature and innate kindness. Greg enjoyed many hobbies and interests – enough for many lifetimes. RC and planes in general were high on his extensive list. There are few, if any, airplane museums he passed without exploring. Nature, ethnic foods & cultures, anime and art were but a few additional interests.

Think of Greg when you hear good music, drink a good beer, travel, get married, love your family, love your friends. If you ever see the stars in the Southern Hemisphere, see a plane overhead, enjoy flowers, learn something new. Enjoy mooing at cows, gazing at grasshoppers. His last fortune cookie read “Now is a good time for a new collection or hobby”. Very fitting. The saddest part is that he loved his life so much. It is also the happiest.
