Grace Hammond 62 went to the Lord on April 16, 2015, in Edmond, Oklahoma. Grace was born in Colon, Panama, on January 21, 1953. She attended school and lived in the former Canal Zone (U.S. Territory) Panama with her parents.
Grace lived at the NOVA Center in Edmond, OK and worked for EARC (Employment and Residential Centers) for adults with development disabilities.
She enjoyed working, music, eating out, traveling and spending time with family on weekends. Grace lived life to the fullest, always happy with a beautiful smile. She was a talented musician and a member of the Church Choir at Henderson Hills Baptist Church, in Edmond, OK.
Grace was preceded in death by her Mother, Grace McGinnis, April 20, 2008. She is survived by Brothers, Norbert Hammond, Blanche Gonzalez, Gilbert Hammond, Edwin and Hubert Hammond. Nieces and Nephews, Jessica Hammond, Valerie Hammond, Vince Hammond, Urf Hammond, William Marcos Gonzalez , Marcos Ahmed Gonzalez, Daniel Marcos Gonzalez, Marcos Hubert Gonzalez Marcos Arturo Gonzalez, Jr., Timothy Hammond, Meredith Hammond, and Nathan Hammond. She is also survived by her extended family Vielka McCulloh, Cindi McCulloh and Christian Cox.
The family gives greatest gratitude to the NOVA Center/ EARC for the loving care and giving Grace an opportunity to live life and be independent and productive in our Society.
