Glenn Allen Finley
1937-2021
Glenn Finley 84 of Edmond, Okla. was born January 13, 1937 in Rutledge, Tennessee to Mildred and Ernest Finley. He grew up in this small town and joined the Airforce on his 18th birthday and was later employed by Lear Siegler, Inc. for 43 years. He met the love of his life, Mary Kenyon, in Wichita, KS, while on tour. They enjoyed 52 years together until Mary’s death on Jan 19, 2011. Glenn was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and son. His love of the outdoors included fishing, camping, hunting, and walking with his loyal companion, a Blue Heeler named Boudreaux.
Glenn passed away on Nov 15, 2021 in Edmond, Okla. He is survived by his three children James and Mark of Edmond, OK, and Glenda of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren Crystal, Shannon, and Lauren; and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother, father, wife, and grandchild Michael. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Matthews Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.
