Glen Robert Brewer
1941 – 2024
Glen Robert Brewer was called home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2024, at 83 years old. Glen was born on February 6, 1941, to Russell “Frosty” and Carrie Brewer (Selby) in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. In 1959, Glen married the love of his life Pauline and together they had two children, Rob Brewer and Robin (Brewer) Chilcutt. Glen dedicated much of his life to the oil & gas industry where he began his work early with Transcontinental Energy Services and later made the move to Phillips 66, where he eventually retired. Glen’s commitment to his faith was evident and he attended First Baptist Church of Edmond. He always had a warm spirit and love for family. Some of his greatest pleasures were seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards, dominoes, or board games, and stopping for a Sonic Dr. Pepper. Glen is best remembered for his love of the Oklahoma State Cowboys and as the playfully dishonest “winner” in any game he competed in. Glen was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Carrie Brewer, his beloved wife Pauline (Wolbrick) Brewer, his two children Rob Brewer and Robin (Brewer) Chilcutt, as well as four of his six siblings – Barbara (Brewer) Tettelton, Bill Brewer, Jerry Brewer, and Russell “Buddy” Brewer.
