  1. Sharon and family,
I am saddened to hear of Harvey’s passing. I remember fond memories of high school years and his big smile and such a good athlete. I was fortunate to hear him play his music a few times over the years and always enjoyed. Praying good memories help comfort your family.

Sharon – you don’t know me personally, but Harvey was a cousin to my father in law Robert G Kifer or “Bobby” as Harvey referred to him. I was honored to meet Harvey a couple of years back and he shared some photos and stories about family history because I have been researching the Kifer family history for my husband, Tony. We are so sorry for your loss. Harvey was a very sweet man and a kind spirit. Tony and I enjoyed time spent listening to his stories and the family pictures he shared with us. To the Family and many friends of Harvey Derrick,
I am sorry for your loss. I use to work with Harvey at Faith Electric from about 2003-2010.
He was a neat man for sure, a good soul of a man. I enjoyed working with him. I also enjoyed talking to him when I would run into him after I left Faith.
He was one of the best singers snd guitar players I have ever seen. He invited me to Guthrie one weekend morning to watch him perform, I took my date there, we had a great time!!!
I also remember the beautiful music he played at Rhet Randolph’s retirement party.
He could do beautiful country and beautiful gospel music.
Had I known sooner he passed, I would have for sure made it to to the services.
Thanks Harvey for the good memories, music, and friendship. You had a wonderful and blessed life for sure.
Time for you to continue to make beautiful music for the ear of the Lord.
Until we meet again, Rest In Peace….🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻
