Geraldine Laubach
1932-2014
Geraldine Lewis Laubach passed away July 3, 2014 in Edmond, Ok. Geraldine was born October 17, 1932 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She married Dale Owen Laubach on February 17, 1951 at the First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater.
Geraldine was a stay at home mother of four and devoted many years to various organizations by volunteering her time. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Social Sorority. In 1960 she did the federal census. She served ten years as area Candy Chair and on the Board of Directors for Campfire Girls. In October of 1982 she resigned from Camp Fire girls and was awarded the Crystal Candy Dish in 1983 for 10 years of service. 1982-2009 Geraldine was a member of the Mercy Health Auxiliary. In addition to all of this she also dedicated 18 years delivering for Meals on Wheels. From 1985-1998 She and her husband had the privilege to care for their parents in their final years.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Dale and son Tom in. She is survived by sons 2 Rick and Steven (Leann); daughter Nancy and two grandchildren, Andrew and Karen. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 2:30-8:30 PM at Matthews Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK
