      Marsha and Greg,
Thank you for your kindness. We appreciate your prayers and ask that you continue with them as we face the days ahead.
Thank you for thinking of us.

  4. Bud and Beverly Anderson were friends of my parents for many years. Bud’s
parents lived next to us in south OKC when I was in grade school. Bud
put seat covers in one of my Dad’s first cars. I have a few photos from the 50s
of Bud and Beverly with my parents at Roman Nose State Park in Watonga and at
what was Platt National Park in Sulphur, if family would like to see them
(spdavis@lane-davis.com). In later years, Bud built a golf cart trailer for my Dad and
generously loaned me a trailer to carry materials when we were building our
house. He enjoyed recalling old times together with my folks. Bud attended my
Dad’s funeral a few years ago and I regret that I was out of town for his
memorial service and was not able to return the honor, but I am grateful
for his long-term friendship with my parents and his kindness to me.

Steve, thank you so much for your kind words. Dad thought so much of Joe, Mary Lou and the family that they raised. He loved to reminisce about the good times that he and mom shared with your parents. He was always impressed with Joe’s artistic abilities and spoke of the kindness of your mom.
We are grateful that they were life long friends.
We would love to see and photos that you might have. I will email you at the address that you listed.
Thank you for your kind tribute to dad.
