Genella Arlene Cupp, 94, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on June 17, 2014. Genella was born on January 29, 1920 in Duke, Oklahoma to Alexander William Kornegay and Ruby Naomi Martin.

Genella was a member of First Baptist Church of Mangum, Oklahoma before moving to Edmond, OK in 1995.

She is preceded in death by her husband Garland N. Cupp and sister Naomi Lemons. Genella is survived by sons B. Garland Cupp (Penny) of Edmond, OK, Jim Cupp (Yvonne) of Mill Creek, WA, Tim Cupp (Janie) of Celina, Texas; brother Jack Kornegay of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren Angie Graham of Kenmore, WA, Rachel Schmidt of Woodinville, WA, Nikki Graves of Edmond, OK, Patrick Cupp of Garland, TX, and Jason Cupp of Celina, TX; and 8 great grandchildren.

Services for Genella will be on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, OK. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, OK.
