I know things didn’t work out with us. But the one thing we both did right while together was our sweet Oaklee Lynn. I wish things could have been different for her so she was able to grow up and know her daddy. I breaks my heart that she will never get that chance. She loves you so much and as do I since you are the father to our baby. And that will never change until the end of my days. I will always have a part of you with me physically because of Oaklee. I will always hold you close to my heart for all the years I was able to spend with you and the many memories we shared. Until we meet again, Gene. <3

Gene Anthony, I am so sorry that I wasn’t there for you when you needed family the most. Our family grew so large that we’ve all been scattered across not just the United States, but the world. That’s no excuse for my absence, and nothing I do or type on here can bring you back. I was there the day you came home from the hospital and I was there for your first birthday and your first Christmas. I remember building a clubhouse with you and Robby with cement blocks your dad and Mikey used to put cars on. I was 10, Robby around 6 and you were 3. It was like a bunker with a sheet metal roof about 30 of those blocks and we were so proud. Your were the most beautiful little boy when you were a child with a smile from ear to ear and the biggest brown eyes that twinkled when you got excited, even in a dark room you could see the glow. Just like uncle Shawn. I’d give anything to go back and be able to have known you all grown up. I’d make sure you knew how much you were loved. I pray that you’re somewhere together, and both of your souls are at peace. I love you,my sweet baby cousin, the world just isn’t the same without you in it. You’re forever missed by us all.
