Thank you to my family and friends for your support throughout Gary’s journey with Parkinson’s disease and now preparing to celebrate his life. I have wonderful memories of my dear husband, a loving character. I am thankful he wanted me to care for him right up to the time he chose to leave my side to continue his life in heaven. Ben—his dog—and I are so sad he’s no longer with us, but are relieved to know he is finally at peace after fighting his Parkinson’s valiantly for several years. It was a tremendously difficult disease for him to live with. Thank you for your prayers.
I will surely miss Gary. I am so glad I was able to help in his care during hospital visits, care center times, and at his home. There were many up and downs but he always amazed me how he seemed to always improve when he was in Joann’s care at home. He is at peace now. God Bless him.
