Lee, GabeGabe Eric Lee was born May 27, 1955, in Denver, Colorado, to Roy Lee and June Hanna Lee. He passed away on December 23, 2014. He was born and raised in Denver where he graduated from Lincoln High School in 1973. He moved to Enid, Oklahoma, in 1990. Gabe later moved to Covington, Oklahoma, and worked at Ditch Witch in Perry, Oklahoma, for 15 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Lee Garrett, and her husband Dave Garrett of Edmond; his son, Matthew Lee, and Matthew’s fiancé Rachel Melton; three grandchildren, Kade, Kyler, and Harper, all of Owasso; his mother, June Lee of Littleton, Colorado; two sisters, Linda Baker, and her husband Trip of Colleyville, Texas, and Kathy Berger of Littleton, Colorado; two nieces, Autumn Lee Gordon of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Ramie Baker Word of Grand Prairie, Texas; and one nephew, Rory Baker of Dallas, Texas. Gabe is also survived by his best friend Annette Blagg Ewers, and Jessica and Matthew’s younger brother Colton of Edmond, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy J. Lee, and his sister, Merri Lee.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Gabe’s memory to the cancer research institute.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
