Fred Kenneth “Kenny” Bandy Jr., 53, went to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 as a result of a motorcycle accident. At the time of death, he resided in Fort Worth, Texas and was employed with Lockheed Martin supporting the F-35 Lightning program.

Kenny was born on April 26, 1963 In Havre de Grace, Maryland to Fred and Frances Bandy. He graduated in 1982 from Rising Sun High School. In August 1987, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served for 23 years as an aircraft maintainer and retired in June 2010 as a Technical Sergeant. He met Cristal Sigler in April 2004, they were married April 7, 2007. After retirement, he continued his career in aircraft maintenance traveling to various locations for Boeing Cessna and Lockheed Martin. He had many hobbies which involved creating alternative energy sources, home remodeling, working on old cars and motorcycles, traveling to historical places and cruising on his beloved café racer, a Royal Enfield he named “Ole’ Yeller.”

Kenny is survived by his father, Fred K. Bandy Sr; mother, Frances M Barbour; stepfather, Jerry Barbour, wife Cristal G. Bandy; brother Rob Bandy; sister Chrissie; son, Shawn M. Bandy, daughter, Ahna Lei Bandy; stepchildren, Holly Price, Michael Sigler, Stephanie Horton, Kristen Sigler, Aaron Sigler and step-grandchildren, Joshua Justice Jr., Kolbie Horton, Kegan Horton, Kyra Horton.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home 601 S. Kelly Ave. Edmond, OK with military honors. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
