Frank Anthony Serrano, Jr.

Frank Anthony Serrano, Jr.

June 3, 1969 – December 30, 2020

Frank Anthony Serrano Jr. was born on June 3, 1969 in Tracy, California. He was the son of Linda Kay Serrano and Frank Anthony Serrano Sr. and the brother of two sisters, Paula and Jennifer Serrano.

Frank graduated from Tracy High School in 1987, then received a business degree from Delta College in Stockton, California.

Frank met his wife, Sheree, at Christian Life Center in Stockton, California, and they married on March 23, 1996. Together they have a son, Jace Anthony Serrano, age 13.

Frank worked for Orchard Distribution Center in Tracy, California for 10 years before he and Sheree moved to Oklahoma. There he began working for Great Plains Rentals in Ardmore, then in Durant, Oklahoma.

They moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 2013, where he became manager of Great Plains Kubota. Frank cherished his relationships there with his Kubota family.

Frank was a Christian husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who touched the lives of countless people who were fortunate enough to know him.

Frank enjoyed doing things with and was completely devoted to his family. He was his son Jace’s T-ball coach, and never missed a practice or game that his son was involved in, whether it was baseball, football, or hockey.  He was the biggest supporter of whatever team Jace was playing on and, of course, he was his biggest fan.

Frank loved his family with complete and total dedication. He really lived up to the meaning of his name, in that he was “frank”, honest, dependable, and trustworthy. His passion was sports, and he actively engaged in Fantasy Football with his friends and family over the years.

Frank is survived by his wife, Sheree, his son, Jace Anthony Serrano, his sisters, Paula and Jennifer, and his mother, Linda Kay Serrano.

Although he will be greatly missed, we treasure precious memories with him, rejoice and celebrate the wonderful life that he led, and are reassured through the promises of our Lord that we will meet him again some wonderful day when we join him in making Heaven our home.

Graveside Services will be held for the family at Hennepin Cemetery in Hennepin, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask the memorial contributions be made to the Hennepin Fire Department.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sheree, Jace and the entire Serrano family. We moved to Edmond a year and a half ago and our son got to play on a baseball team with Jace. Frank was the very first person at practice to go out of his way to come over introduce himself to my husband and I. We got to know him on the sidelines supporting our boys. We loved getting to know him and will miss him very much.

I got to know frank through business at Great Plains. He was a great man and the reason I did business at Great Plains. He will be missed greatly. Prayers are with his family.

We love you Sheree and Jace!

  4. Thank you all for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Frank was an amazing husband and father, and we miss him more than words can say. Love you all and appreciate you!
