Frances Ann Clark
1931-2021
Frances (Fran) Ann Clark passed away on February 21, 2021 in Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 89. Fran was born in Oklahoma City on December 21, 1931 to the late John Frank Seibert and Elizabeth (Beth) Deyo Seibert.
She attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri where she met her first husband, James Whitley Clark, the father of her three children. Fran lived in Lebanon, Missouri until her husband’s employer, Fleming Foods, moved their corporate offices to Oklahoma City.
Fran worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor, helping people with addictions, and as a Bereavement Specialist.
Fran married Knox VanHoy in 2010. He was by her side, and cared for her, from the day they met. They enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time together.
She spent the last few years with Knox in Legend at Jefferson’s Garden Assisted Living community. They called it home. Many thanks goes to Oklahoma Hospice who took special care of her as well as the kind and caring staff at Legend.
Fran enjoyed the company of many friends through the years. She was a very special lady and will be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her. Fran was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Kenneth D. Seibert, John Deyo Seibert and her daughter, Anne.
Frances is survived by her husband, Knox VanHoy, son, John Clark, daughter, Janet Clark and her daughter Echo, stepdaughter, Debi Hendrix, special sister-in-law, Claire Seibert Younkin and many family members and friends.
A private service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
All of us at Clinic Pharmacy will miss Fran. She always brought a smile to our faces.
