Flora (Morris) Miller, 79, died to this world Wednesday, October 28, and is now alive in Christ. She was born July 14, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas to John J. Morris and Cleo Ruth Morris, both deceased. Flora graduated from Edmond High Schoolmiller flora and married her sweetheart, David Miller, in 1954. They had three children, Peggy Sue, David Allan and Stephen Michael Miller, all of whom preceded her in death. Flora also had 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Flora is survived by her sister, Winnie Gatewood of Edmond, her sister, Judi, and her husband, Tony Scott, of Chatteris, England, and her brother, Roger Morris, and his wife Beverly, of Luther, Oklahoma. Flora worked at C. R. Anthony during high school. Later she worked at Miller Moving and Storage, and Hasty Transfer and Storage. She also ran an antique shop in Oklahoma City and Guthrie for many years. She served as church secretary at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Midwest City from 1994-1999, and received many blessings from the dear members of the congregation. She was a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Edmond and served in the Altar Guild, Angel Food ministry, and various other capacities at the church she loved. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the music ministry at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.    Viewing to be held 3-5pm Sunday, November 1, at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond. Services to be held 10:30am Monday, November 2, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Edmond with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation services.
