Eugenia Lurline (Payne) Underwood, 90, of Edmond, OK passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 in Edmond, OK. Lurline was born April 21, 1929 in Dallas, TX to James and Donna Payne. After her marriage to James (Jim) Underwood (deceased), Lurline worked as an oil and gas accountant for many years. Lurline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to time with family and friends, Lurline loved her husband Jim dearly and was an accomplished golfer and bridge player. She is survived by her son, Stephen and his wife Jan Underwood of Edmond; daughter, Cindy and her husband Joe Spiro of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Kelly and husband Josh Crotser and their two children, Jake and his wife Kendra Underwood and their two children, and Bert and his wife Tammy Hughlet. Lurline was deeply loved and will be missed. A small, family graveside service was held Friday, May 16th, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
