Couldn’t have written a better obituary for Erie. Ornery, generous, lively- those are all so fitting! I have nothing but good memories of him. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Lots of prayers, love, and good vibes to your family.

There is a hole in my heart where his childhood image was held. I know the hole will scab and grow over to be a different sort of spot for Erie, but his memory will always be there. I know you are hurting so now and we pray for you. He is in a better place and when you meet him there, he will hold out his arms, give you that smile, and it will feel as though you never parted. He has the same love for you as always.
With deepest sympathy. It was a joy to know you
