Enszley “Dwight” Burleson

Enszley “Dwight” Burleson departed this life into the arms of Jesus during the early days of December 2023. Dwight was discovered departed on December 21, 2023 at his home. Dwight was born on September 4, 1950 to Doc & Ruby (Miller) Burleson in Coalgate, OK. Dwight and his family moved to Edmond, OK in 1960. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, his loving sister, Louise Ford, several very dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dwight is survived by his nephew, Bucky Ford of OKC, OK, his nieces Debbie Bagwell of Edmond, OK and Pam Ford of Edmond, OK, and his brother-in-law, Buford Ford of Edmond, OK. Dwight was the Accounts Payable Supervisor at the Oklahoma Lottery until he was promoted to the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Dwight retired in January 2018, from the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department as the Accounting Manager, of the Administrative Service Division. Dwight achieved many accomplishments during his lifetime. Dwight graduated high school in Edmond, OK on the 20th of May 1969. During the spring semester of 1972 and the fall semester of 1973, he was chosen to be a member of the Deans Honor Roll at Central State University. On May 16, 1973, Dwight graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. On May 4, 1984, he graduated with a Degree of Master of Business Administration, and on May 10, 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and on May 3, 1988 he graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration, all from Central State University.
