Edith Opal (Tracy) Avera was born May 8, 1926 in Gasoline, Texas the youngest of seven sisters.  She went to be with the Lord August 25, 2018. Married Leo Rex Avera on May 20, 1944. They ran the Rex theater in Sentinel,  Oklahoma. Later they became farmers and farmed til retirement.  Edith was a very talented person.  She sewed, knitted, crocheted,  kept up with the farming. They moved from Sentinel to Elk City then retired to Edmond to be close to their children.  Edith was preceded in death her parents,  husband Rex,  her six siblings, and one grandson Timothy Avera. Survived by two sons Johnny Avera and Bobby Avera, Two daughters Jeane Stewart and Carol Sue Butler. Nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends and relatives for a come and go reception/service on Saturday September 1, 2018 from 9:30 until Noon.
