Dru Satterlee, 49, passed away on March 4, 2025, in Imperial County, California. Born on April 4, 1975, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dru lived a life full of adventure, dedication, and love.
A graduate of Edmond Memorial High School in 1993, Dru went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2001. His career as a realtor was more than just a profession—it was a calling. He thrived on helping people find their homes and built his success through honesty and genuine care for those he worked with. Alongside his business partner Shaun Miller and Shaun’s son Yohannes, Dru cultivated a thriving real estate company that reflected his integrity and passion.
Dru’s greatest joys in life were his two daughters, Riley and Paige, and his wife of 21 years, Kristy. They were the driving force behind everything he did. He made sure they knew every day how much he loved them and how proud he was of them. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him.
An adventurous spirit at heart, Dru found happiness in off-roading, wheeling, camping, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. He embraced life with enthusiasm—loyal, hardworking, hilarious, and loving to all who knew him.
Dru is survived by his beloved wife Kristy Satterlee; daughters Riley Satterlee and Paige Satterlee; mother Diane Satterlee; sister Darci Ray and her husband Vernon Ray; nephew Logan McKee and his wife Courtney McKee; mother-in-law Jan Pope; stepmother Susan Satterlee; sister-in-law Becky Sellers and her husband Steven Sellers; nephews Chase Ohl and Michael Sellers; niece Lauren Sellers; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father Johnny Satterlee; father-in-law David Pope; grandparents Phil and Vay Satterlee; and grandparents Ed and Sue Pennington.
Dru’s legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Tomorrow is not promised. Live each day to the fullest.
Visitation with family present will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Matthews Funeral Home, located at 601 S. Kelly Ave. Edmond, Oklahoma, 73003.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Road Church of Christ, located at 2221 E. Memorial Road in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Dru was an outstanding young man and friend. I’ll miss his laugh, smile and the Man he was. I loved him.
To know Drew was to love him. He will be incredibly missed. We are so sad.

Dru was the man all men should try to be in their lives. He was the best husband to Kristi and dad to his girls. He found his happiness in his family and friends. Enjoyed knowing Dru as a boy , as a teenager and as a man. He was always a kind , helpful person, a great deal like his parents.
