    I send my heartfelt condolences to you. Doug was a good friend to me and I will never forget our early days working at Tinker AFB, playing softball and coaching 6th grade basketball together. He was a man of few words but what when he did speak his words meant something. RIP my friend.

    I had Doug for a boss when I was deploying overseas. I always knew that he was just an email away from providing me with any assistance that was needed. He was ready with a laugh and was tolerant of my antics. He was patient with my weird sense of humor and allowed me to joke some with Peyton at a promotion celebration. I later got the great pleasure of meeting Doug’s wife, Peggy at an off base event. Hearing some of their stories of adventure and seeing the love in their eyes, let you know that they were a team through thick and thin.

    My sincerest condolences to the family. There are no words that can provide comfort from such a loss. All I can say is in time the sting will lesson and leave room for the good times that you all shared.

    Mrs. Pearson and family;

    I knew Doug from work here at Tinker and shared duck and goose blinds with him and his dog here in Oklahoma. I was taken aback when I heard Doug had passed.

    I needn’t tell you but will anyway, the world lost one of the good guys with his passing and at a time when they are so desperately needed.

    Please accept my deepest condolences. Doug will be missed.

    My deepest condolences to Doug’s family! I worked with Doug in the B-52 System Program Office for many years. He was a good guy and great engineer. I’ll never forget the TDY we went on to Eglin AFB a few years ago, where we got to spend some time together. He will be greatly missed by the B-52 family.
