Donnella Sue Wheat
1932-2018
Donnella Sue Wheat died at age 85 on May 17, 2018 after a long illness.
She was a member of the Edmond Church of Christ since 1972 when the family moved to Edmond. Her life revolved around her family and church.
She loved decorating, reading and basketball. She was an avid OU fan.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bill Wheat. And survived by son David Wheat, daughter Tamara Ribera; two granddaughters, Jerika Wheat and Allison Ribera. Also many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bant and Ethel Baird; five siblings, Flodayle Mosier, Bant Baird, Jr., Norman Jo Smith, Rolley C. Baird and Bobby Louis Baird.
Public visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 20 and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 21 at Matthews Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
