Donna Elaine Melton
1961-2023
Donna Elaine Melton was born in Oklahoma City on September 11, 1961 to Max and Doris (Beal) Melton. She passed away on January 10, 2023 in Oklahoma City.
Donna was raised in Yukon, Oklahoma and graduated from Yukon High School in 1979. She married William “Billy” Perry and they lived in Yukon, Oklahoma City, and Tennessee. Donna is survived by her son Max Tyler Melton, her sisters, Kathryn Suarez and Barbara Matthews, and her brother, Joe Bob Melton. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Melton.
She adored her son Tyler and centered her life around him. Donna loved to decorate for any event especially Christmas. Her house was always filled with so many odds and ends that were treasures to her. She always looked after her brother Joe and made sure he was OK even though she might have been struggling herself.
Donna worked for Decorators Drapery Manufacturing in Oklahoma City. Donna’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes buried next to her Mom and Dad in Yukon, OK.
