Don loved being with his family, attending church and Sunday school, working, reading, learning, and hunting and fishing. Don’s purpose in life was to be useful and that he was. Don loved to help people fix things and work on projects, and when someone was in a jam he would seem to create a fix without the usual tools or materials, earning him the nickname “MacGyver”. Don was an electrical engineer by education, worked in manufacturing until his retirement and remained useful long after. Don had a great sense of humor and was always learning.
