Donald P. Jost

1926-2015

Jost, DonaldDonald P. Jost of Edmond, Oklahoma, was born on April 4, 1926, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Alfred & Elsie Jost. He passed away at his home on March 2, 2015. He married Inge Rogge on October 1, 1949.

Donald was employed at Sentry Insurance Company from 1950-1987 and was a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).

He was a proud member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin; active in the Men’s Club, Young at Heart, Bible Class, Treasurer, Lay Minister, and participated in the Senior Golf and Bowling Leagues.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his Wife Inge; children, Kathy Jost Karfonta & husband Richard, Edmond, Oklahoma; Karen Jost and Jim Edgar, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Grandchildren, Kirsten (Karfonta) Taylor, Princeton, NC; Kimberly (Karfonta) Carnley, Stillwater, OK; Kyle Karfonta, Norman, OK; Maris Edgar, Milwaukee, WI; Grace Edgar, Cambridge, MA; and Madeline Edgar, Columbia, MO; great-grandchild, Alexis Taylor; and brother, Willard Jost, Sheboygan, WI.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1501 N. Bryant Avenue, Edmond, OK.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Edmond, OK.
