Dennis Jerome Schooler, age 61, passed away November 23, 2016 in Edmond Oklahoma. A longtime resident of Minnesota, he moved to Oklahoma in 2001 with his wife Peggy and son Will. Throughout his life, Denny enjoyed activities like hunting and fishing. Denny was an avid walleye fisherman and waterfowl hunter. He enjoyed spending his time in the boat or in the blind with family and friends. Dennis worked for Aetna Health Insurance as a Claims Processor. On April 30th, 2004, his grandson Leif was born and Denny’s life would never be the same. Leif and Denny spent their time trying to solve the worlds problem or sharing an ice cream.
He was a Mason. Dennis was a member of Siloam Lodge of Oklahoma City as well as Cashion Lodge where he served in the West as Senior Warden. He was voted into the East by his Brethren and would have been installed as Worshipful Master of Cashion Lodge for 2017. He was also a 32nd Degree Master Mason member of the Scottish Rite in Guthrie Oklahoma. Lastly, he was a Shriner serving our Shrine Children.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife and partner Peggy Schooler. Their son Will & his wife Marette. His grandson, Leif. Father Jerome, sisters Karen, Susan and Marybeth, brother David, and several nieces and nephews.
You left us far too soon Dad. You are missed. And so dearly loved by so many. The outpouring has been unreal. I love you Dad ????
I came from a different state and got to know Denny thru his wife Peggy from our work. He was a quite man and enjoyed spending time with his family. God bless you Denny I know you will be missed by all. May God bless this family in their sorrow. Remember Denny is at peace now and not hurting anymore. Love you all Lou & Richard Zabovnik

I never met Denny, but he sounds like a wonderful, loving husband, dad, father, friend and person. I know he will be missed by so many people.
