Della Ione Pearson, 73, of Edmond, OK passed away October 1, 2013 in Edmond. She was born on August 19, 1940 in Graceville, MN to Alfred and Hazel Monnie. Della worked for 15 years in the social services industry and most recently worked for the past 3 years as an administrative assistant at the First Lutheran Church of OKC. She was an active volunteer in “Whiz Kids,” helping inner city kids with math and reading skills. She is survived by her husband, Glen Pearson of Pipestone, MN; sons, Mark Pearson of Faribault, MN, Doug Pearson and wife Peggy of Edmond and Chris Pearson and wife Heidi of Juneau, AK; and grandsons, Morgan and Peyton Pearson of Edmond. Memorial services for Della will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church in Edmond.
