David Gulick
1957 – 2025
David Lawrence Gulick passed away on April 25, 2025, at his home. He was 67 years old.
Born on June 29, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, David lived a life defined by hard work, fun, integrity, and quiet strength. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Valerie, whom he loved to travel with.
David worked for many years as a computer engineer, where he was respected for his dedication, fairness, and work ethic. His colleagues remember him not only for his professionalism but also for his generosity and unwavering support.
Those who knew David will remember his dry humor, his loyalty and unwavering support.
David is survived by his wife, Valerie, and siblings Jim Gulick and Becky Sherman. David is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rita Gulick.
The family will hold a private ceremony. In lieu of flower, the family asks that donations be made in David’s memory to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, a cause close to his heart.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
I worked with Dave for many years and always appreciated his quiet kindness and professionalism. He will be missed
David was a great boss. I only wish I had started working for him sooner.
Dave will be deeply missed. Dave was a great mentor to me and helped me grow in my career. I’m not person I am today professionally without some like Dave in my life. I can tell countless stories about Dave and the work/ joy he brought to people he worked with. How he took a leap of faith on a young me. I will cherish the time we had and continue prayers for his wife and family.
Dave was truly a special person and a joy to work with. So intelligent, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. I leaned on him more times than I can count. One day stands out when he came back to the office to help me after hours on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. It was a very urgent and tricky issue and despite the inconvenience and difficulty, he was so helpful and jovial that he turned it around into a funny thing that we laughed about for years. I am blessed to have known him.
Thank you, Barbara. It’s good for me to be reminded that he was special to everyone not just me.
