Darlene Rose Johnston
1948-2018
Darlene Rose Johnston (Inman), of Edmond, OK, departed this life on March 3rd, 2018 at the age of 69. She was born on September 11, 1948 in Nowata, OK to Alva and Leona Inman. She loved to work in her flower gardens, quilt, read and most of all loved spending time with her family.
Darlene is survived by her husband Doug Johnston, her daughter Mashell and her husband Donnie Just, granddaughter Ashley Frantz and her husband John, great grandson Stetson Frantz and brother David Inman.
Darlene was preceded by parents, Alva and Leona Inman, brothers Jimmy Lee Inman, Benny Inman, Carl Inman and Fred Inman, sisters Lydia Inman, Georgie Patterson, Ethel Majors and Louise Stanart.
When I leave you, don’t weep for me. Remember how my laugh pleased you and my special words of expressions made you giggle and smile.
A celebration of life will be at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond on Thursday, March 8th at 1 p.m.
Graveside service to follow at Summit View Cemetery, located at 1808 N. Pine Street in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
