Darleen Priddy
1942-2024
Darleen Priddy passed away on October 2, 2024. She stepped into heaven’s door because as a young girl she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior.
She is preceded in death by her father Willard “Bud” Farr, mother, Alliene Farr, and brother Jimmy Farr. She is survived by the love of her life and, husband of 65 years, Coy Priddy, of Edmond, Oklahoma, twin sister Arleen Bordwine of Binger, Oklahoma, son Terry Priddy and wife Christine of Lawton, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Michael Couffer of Lawton, Shanna and husband Dustin Warner of Blanchard, Oklahoma and three great grandchildren A J, Taelor and Jace Warner of Blanchard, Oklahoma, daughter Robin Williams and husband Bill, grandchildren Seth Lee Williams and Sy Thomas Williams of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Darleen was an amazing wife, doting mother, she will be my forever sweetheart. Darleen wore many hats from bus driver, and teachers aid to a career with the City County Health Dept. in Oklahoma City. She loved to travel, camp and color on her iPad.
She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. Darleen was in bad health for about three years before passing away at The Timbers Nursing Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond, Oklahoma with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.
