Daniel “Danny” Richard Graves, 53, of Oklahoma City, passed away June 23, 2020. Danny was born in Oklahoma City to Mary Ann Huneke. At the age of 2, Danny was adopted by Paul S. After high school, Danny attended one year of community college and decided that route was not for him. For many years he worked as a finance manager for various car dealerships around the Oklahoma City area. In July of 2001, the best gift Danny could have received came in the birth of his son Sean. Danny is survived by his son Sean Graves, of Oklahoma City, older brother Brian Graves of Castle Rock, CO and children Breanna and Connor; younger brother Paul (Denice) Graves of Clearwater, KS, and children McKenzie, Molly (Thing 1), and Hayden (Thing 2); and Step-Father Stephen Huneke of Oklahoma City and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary Huneke and Paul S. Graves.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 2nd at 10:00 am at Northside Christian Church, 2526 NW 122nd St, Oklahoma City. The family will welcome friends but ask to please practice social distancing. Masks are suggested, but not required. A private burial will take place at an undisclosed time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Danny was one of my dearest and best friend for many years. We had our ups and downs and even stopped talking for a couple years. I have always kept him and Sean in my prayers. Trying to wrap my head around him being gone is not easy. Always had a special love for Danny…I kept your reserved sign, now it’s your turn to save a place for me. Fly high my dear friend, I miss you more than words
