Mr. Dan will be remembered fondly from our time spent getting to know he and Miss Mary while in Thomasville, GA! They really took us under their wings. I cherished his annual Christmas card. His family and friends will remain in my prayers!
This guys will be missed by so many. Spent several year traveling Oklahoma and working side by side with Dan so enjoyed listening to stories of his travels and work history. Prayer for the family and till we meet again my brother.
I will always remember Dan’s wonderful singing voice, singing solos in school contests with his mother as his accompanist. Then there were the cornet trios that he and two other classmates played where I accompanied them. What fun times those were. Dan and Mary were so faithful about coming to class reunions and Dan, after Mary passed, that it was a great time for us to continue our friendship from high school days into our elder days. I have been Blessed to know them both. Rest in Peace dear friend.
Breakfast at Cattlemen’s is not going to be same without Dan. We have met monthly for years. I am really going to miss this world traveler and his many stories.
He was such a fun guest to have in Idaho!
He shared many of his travel stories with us and loved to cook. He even helped Tom and I cook for Family Camp (over 300 meals) in a weekend. We hardly had to tell him what to do! We always loved his visits!!💕
It was a privilege to know and work with Dan! He was always kind and sincere. His wonderful stories reflected how much he loved his work, his travel adventures and especially his family. His genuine nature will be missed.
May God’s loving arms welcome you into heaven Dan and may wonderful memories of you live in your children and grandchildren’s hearts forever.
Our sincere sympathy on Dan’s passing. We’ve enjoyed his friendship over the years, starting at Albert Lea and then Oklahoma City. We are thankful to have known him, and we will miss him, and our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
