Cynthia “Cindy” Jo Grill Warfe of Edmond, Oklahoma, was born in Lancing Michigan on July 2, 1951.  She spent her childhood and teenage years growing up in Hudson Michigan.  After graduating high school, she went on an adventure and headed west to California.  She had her dream job working at Disney Land.  California is where she met the love of her life, Mark.  Mark and Cindy married and moved to Carmichael, California where they raised their son Jason and daughter Jennifer.   After retirement from the California School Board association, she and Mark decided to try another adventure and moved to Edmond, Oklahoma. 

Cindy is survived by her husband Mark of 49 years , her son Jason and Cari Warfe of Oklahoma City and daughter Jennifer and Alan Ginn of Antelope, CA, her grandchildren: Jacie, Collin, Carlie Jo, Jonah, and Ava.  She is also Survived by her brother Jim and Teresa Grill and sister Pamela and Ken Grossmann.  She was proceeded in death by her Mother Francis and Father Jim.

Cindy was a wonderful, kind, and loving woman.  She was full of joy.  Her laugh was contagious, and she loved to make people smile.  What she treasured the most was her husband and family. During holidays or family gatherings, she would make sure she made at least one of everyone’s favorite dishes or deserts.   She spent many evenings gathered around the table playing Rummy Q or other games, laughing, and joking with family and friends.  She loved telling jokes and was always excited to share her newest one with everyone around her.  Cindy loved all holidays, from celebrating them, decorating her entire house and yard, and finding fun holiday shirts.   Cindy was always willing to help others.  She and Mark opened their home to countless individuals, and she was known as the neighborhood mom to many.  She would make sure the people around her were taken care of.  One of Cindy’s other joys was her dog, Andy.  She loved taking Andy for evening drives with Mark.  She always made sure her family knew how much she loved them.
