Cynthia Evans
1962 – 2023
Cynthia Lorraine Evans died at the age of 60 on August 17, 2023. She was born December 23, 1962, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Benjamin Botts and Geraldine Garlett. She enjoyed working as a long-time dispatcher for the police department as well as a trained Emergency Medical Technician. She enjoyed reading, crocheting in her spare time, and spoiling her grandchildren. Cindy enjoyed being a captain for the Thunder’s Blue Alliance program for many years. She could never have enough “extra ice”.
Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, brother, Michael Shane Botts, and father, Benjamin Cecil Botts. Survivors include her mother, Geraldine Kay Garlett of Edmond, OK, Sister Tammy Christan and husband Eugene of Ratliff City, OK, Brother Jeff Botts and wife Olga of Porter, Texas, son Charles Mills and wife JoeLee of Edmond, OK, daughter Tisha Mills and Fiancé Vincent Muñoz Edmond, Ok, son Michael Moore and wife Darian of El Reno, OK, grandchildren Benjamin, Addison, Dakota, Kayden, Maddox, and Rosie.
Public visitation will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home.
Services will be held Monday, August 21, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
