Connie Jo Gadd departed this life on January 31, 2013 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Connie was born on April 2, 1936 at her “Granny’s “ house in Cushing. Her parents were James Edward Johnson and Eldean Moore. She was preceded in death by her father and her son Clarence Jr. (Padie).
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clarence (Clancy) Gadd of the Home. Her daughter Vickie McAboy of Yukon, her mother Eldean of S.W. OKC., her brother Ronnie Johnson and family of S.W. OKC., cousins Joyce Dickinson of Grove, OK., Gary Moore and family of Las Vegas, NV, Granddaughter, Lindsay Ross-Braun and family of Yukon, OK. Grandson Chris McAboy and family of Pewaukee, Wis., former son in law Patrick McAboy of OKC., and a host of friends who will miss her beautiful smiling face, loving nature and “Hugs”.
Services will be at Quail Springs Baptist Church on Monday Feb. 4, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Matthews Funeral Home of Edmond. Our gratitude to neighbors Sharee and Mary, Autumn Bridge Hospice; Kerry, Amber and others of that wonderful organization.
In lieu of flowers donatons may be made to Boys Ranch Town of Edmond, or Quail Springs Baptist Church of OKC..
