Clarence Cleo Haney Jr.
1931 – 2021
Clarence C. Haney, Jr. (CC or Jr.) was born on October 21, 1931, only child of Loree and Clarence C. Haney Sr. CC attended Lafayette Elementary School and graduated from Capital Hill High School, where he enjoyed his woodworking classes. He joined the Air Force after graduation serving as a mechanic and enjoyed telling stories of all the cities and countries, he was able to visit. After his service, he joined his dad in operating service stations branded Sinclair, Conoco, and ultimately owning his own Skelly distributorship. In 1973, he went to work as General Manager of Pro-Am Truck Stops with locations in Oklahoma City, Choctaw, Tulsa, and Amarillo, TX. After he retired, he enjoyed working in the yard, planting flowers, growing tomatoes, and traveling.
He is survived by his wife Alice of thirty-three years, his daughter Debbie (Keith) Bloch, Sons, David (Cynthia), and Doug along with Rhonda Flemming, Reba Huddleston and Roger (Carla) Flaming. Also, grandchildren, Kris (Jenna) Bloch, Kyndal (Chris) Wilmot, Shaunna Bailey, Amber Klinger, Carter and Reed Flaming, Dustin Huddleston, and Terry Bohanan. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed and we are thankful that he kept his sense of humor in spite of his declining health.
Services will be held Thursday, July 22nd, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
