1928-2023
Christine Evelyn Deichman, 94, of Oklahoma City, left this earth on March 23, 2023 to meet her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her beloved husband of 69 years, Harold Deichman, and her daughter Sherry Deichman. We celebrate their reunification in Heaven. Chris was born March 26, 1928 in the Medford, OK area to Edward and Sibby Northcutt. Chris retired from Southwestern Bell on December 31, 1983 after 35 years and 8 months. She was a wonderful wife, mother and a friend. Although she didn’t have any hobbies, she loved to look at catalogs received in the mail and called them her wish books. She will be greatly missed.
Chris is survived by her daughter Dee Friar and husband Odell Friar, two grandsons of Sherry Deichman – Aaron Lombard and Ryan Lombard with wife Jennifer and three great grandchildren Michael, Deven, and Kylie.
We would like to thank the Valir Hospice Care employees for all of their help and the employees and aids at Legends at Council Road in the memory care unit.
Services will be held at Quail Springs Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 29 at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in OKC.
