Christina (Chris) Elizabeth Cuneo Pickle, 63, completed her courageous battle with cancer on April 22, 2013. Chris was born August 6, 1949 in Flushing, NY to Roy and Geraldine Cuneo and moved to Oklahoma in 1969. She is survived by her husband, Tom of Oklahoma City, father, Roy of Lindenhurst, NY, daughter and son-in-law Betsy and Gary McClanahan of Edmond, and son and daughter-in-law Cary and Tony Brand of Oklahoma City. Chris was the proud grandmother of Hannah Brand and Ryan McClanahan.
Chris served as the office manager for Mid-Continent Airmotive of Oklahoma City for 35 years until her retirement in 2012. She was an accomplished pianist. Chris loved to laugh, enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing tennis, and baking cookies. Chris was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends.
She was surrounded by family at the time of her death. That final few days were filled with laughter and fond memories. Chris wasn’t shy with her opinions and made her love of family clear.
Chris’ life will be remembered at a memorial service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 24th at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1000 N. Broadway, Edmond, The Rt. Rev. J. Michael Robertson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society

Tom & Family, We are so very sorry for your great loss. Chris was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. She was always smiling & made everyone around her happy. She could always make us laugh & I’m sure the heavens are brighter than ever with her there. Keeping your family in our prayers, Ray & Marla
Speaking from the “Pilots” side of her Mid-Continent Airmotive family, Chris will truely
be remembered as a source of laughter and kindness. Even after a 20 year absense, I called her and she “knew” my voice. Thats what I call a class act. We are missing her already.
I am so saddened today as I read about Chris in the newspaper. A few years ago she and I exercised at Curves on NW 39th. Faithfully, she always came in after work with enthusiasm and lifted up the spirits of all of us exercising.
She talked quite a lot of her father and how he played tennis every day. I play piano also and would hear about her lesson and the piece she was learning. I suggested a piano tuner which she used and was very happy with.
Chris Pickle truly blessed my life – I will always remember her beautiful smile and be uplifted in remembering her humor and enthusiasm.
