Charlie would always greet my wife and I with a smile and a kind hello, when we would walk through the door at Walmart. When my wife and I arrived this morning, the first thing we said was I hope Charlie is here this morning and when we saw that he passed, it really broke our hearts. We both prayed for him and his family and we know that Charlie is in Heaven looking down and watching over his family and friends. He his waiting for the rest of his loved ones and is ready to greet them again. We will truly miss you my friend Charlie!

Chuckles was a great friend. We have had the privilege of spending many hours visiting with him through the last 30 years. He always had a smile on his face and was truly interested in what we had to say. We watched him handle cancer with braveness and strength and it didn’t defeat him.
We also got to enjoy lots and lots of sugar cookies. He always gave us so many that we would share with all our family, coworkers and friends . Everyone knew who he was even though they hadn’t met him from our stories and his cookies. We loved him dearly. We will miss his smiling face!!!! Prayers to all of his family that he loved so much and his friends that he loved like family.

Charlie was a great man. Myself and my mother only knew him as the door greeter at Walmart. But every single time we went there, we’d make sure to iron out 20 extra minutes to speak with him. His stories on life and warmth of his heart, truly made my mornings. I know my family and many others will miss him.
