Cecil L. Cruce
1927-2015
Cecil Lee Cruce passed away on July 31st, 2015. He was born to Charlie & Jane Cruce on June 3, 1927 in Okemah, OK. He was preceded in death by several step-brothers and his beloved sisters, Pauline Thomas and Willa Lawrence. He is survived by several loving nieces and nephews and many friends who cared so much for him. He was employed by several petroleum companies in Oklahoma and California as a Geological Draftsman. He will be forever missed by his friend and care-giver, Jack Dodge. Visitation will be Monday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Matthews Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday August 5, 2015, at Matthews Funeral Home.
Cecil was my great uncle. His sister Willa Lawrence was my grandmother. I was suprised to hear of his passing but was also put at ease by the fact that God promised man 70 years of life, of course by living an upright existence. My Uncle Cecil well exceeded 70 years in this journey that we all travel. WELL DONE UNCLE CECIL!!!
