Carol and I had many fun times together as kids. Our families shared lots of dinners and company picnics, and I was always delighted to go and be with the Holmbergs. Carol, in particular, was charming and very brave, and she had a tender heart for animals, even the pet skunk. Carol often amazed me by her spunk and her sense of humor. At school she was way cooler than I ever thought about being, but I always felt at ease with her. My heart goes out to Judy and Bill and Mickey. I am sorry for this loss, and grateful for the support you gave her.
