1939-2018
Carl W. Frownfelter went home to his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2018. He was born in Lomita, California on May 24, 1939 to Wesley R. and Ruby Mae Frownfelter. He has one sister, Barbara (Jerry) Cokely of Utah and two brothers, Jerry Frownfelter (preceded in death) and Robert (Beverly) Frownfelter of California.
He worked 25 years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before retiring and also worked for the State of Oklahoma for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1960.
His jokes (he had a million of them), his legendary nicknaming skills, early morning crossword puzzles and peeks through his telescope will be our fondest memories of him.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Becky, two sons who were his life, Carl (Candy) Frownfelter of Oklahoma City, OK and Paul (Lori) Frownfelter of Choctaw, OK, 7 grandchildren, Morgan (Derrick) Heu of Oklahoma City, OK, Ryan (Ryan) Webb of Oklahoma City, OK, Jordan (Justin) Rowley of Edmond, OK, Becca Frownfelter of Choctaw, OK, Kenzer (Dustin) Gathright of Moore, OK, Madyson Frownfelter and Logan Frownfelter of Choctaw, OK and 9 great-grandchildren.
