For the short time we worked together, you had a positive impact on my day. You were always there to give me a good laugh, even if it was just overhearing a conversation between you and Diana. You will definitely be missed and I pray for strength and perseverance for your family.

Caren was such a wonderful, joyous spirit! She always had a smile on her face and was always so cheerful…it was contagious. She bragged so much about her wonderful family and was so proud of each and every one of them. Recently, she lost her phone at work and was in a panic because she didn’t want to have to tell her husband that she lost it. She looked everywhere frantically. She went to security office, the cafeteria, the restrooms and every isle on our floor looking for her phone, but couldn’t find it anywhere. Once she reached our row asking if we had seen it laying around anywhere, I asked her if she had called it. She got the funniest look on her face and started laughing and said, “No, I never thought about doing that.” She went to her desk and called it and she heard it ringing… from her purse! It had been with her the whole time and she never knew it! We had such a laugh over that! She was always doing and saying funny things that made us smile and laugh daily. We are going to truly miss her presence here at Hertz. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of her loved ones. Her life will be celebrated, as we are blessed to have what little time that we did with her. She will never be forgotten.

Eric, my heart is broken for you and the girls. I met Caren at your wedding and felt like I had always known her, she was easy to love. I was so grateful when you two made it to my wedding a while later!! I will the keep the memories of spending time with you and your family in my heart forever. I know you and the girls have a lifetime of them, but still way too few. I will pray for your peace and comfort.

  5. I worked with Caren for a several years and will always remember her as a fun-loving person. She had a smile on her face every day and shared funny stories that kept all our spirits up. I remember the year she dressed up as Katy Perry for the Halloween event at work. She loved her family and was so proud of her daughters. I am so very sorry for their loss. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
