1966-2023

Brian Steven Tindill beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend departed this life on June 27, 2023, in the Bahamas. He passed away suddenly while doing what he loved, scuba diving. He is survived by his loving wife Laura Tindill and daughter Nicole Tindill of Edmond, OK; parents Gary and Verna Tindill of Claremore, OK, and sister Lora Bryant and husband Jim of Claremore. Brian was preceded in death by his son Michael Tindill. Brian was 56 years old.

Brian was a proud husband and father. He received an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and a Masters degree in Health Sciences Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Brian lived out his life’s purpose to serve others and dedicated his career to the Veterans Administration Hospitals (VA) working in Oklahoma, Florida, and Georgia. For the last 15 years Brian held the position of Administrative Officer of Radiology Services at the VA in Oklahoma City.

Brian is also survived by his nephew, John Bryant and wife Kourtney of Alexander City, AL; niece, Kelsey Chambers and husband Cory of Claremore, OK; niece, Stephanie Remigio and husband Jason of Claremore, OK; In-laws: Ed and Sandy Rybicki of Tulsa, OK; David Rybicki of Tulsa, OK; Suzan and Edward McDaniel of St. Louis, MO and their daughters Claire and Gillian; grand-nieces and nephews, Annatasia, Haydon, Baylor, Chase, Connor and many extended family and friends.

The visitation will be held at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK on Friday, July 21st from 5-7pm.

The Celebration of Life will also be held and Matthews Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22nd commencing at 2pm. For those attending the Celebration of Life, we encourage you to wear blue, green, grey, or black Brian’s favorite colors.

In lieu of flowers, the Tindill family would appreciate donations in Brian’s Honor to the American Heart Association.

    Brian used to live basically around the corner from me in Claremore. We used to hang out a lot as kids and ride his mini bike all the time. Always such a nice guy not a bad bone in his body. The world is missing another great soul. Rest in peace buddy God bless!
