Billy R. Davis

Billy R. Davis

1962 – 2024

Billy was born in August of 1962 to Billie Bailey and Ron Davis and passed away in July of 2024 at the age of 61.

Graduated from High School and attended two years of Business College in Oklahoma.

Billy and Christine met and married in Western Oklahoma and have lived in Central Oklahoma for 35 years. They just celebrated  their 40th Wedding Anniversary together a few months ago.

Billy was a devoted husband and was dedicated to his daughter and grandchildren in helping them to build their futures.

Learning to Hunt with family from a young age led him to the competitive sport of Cowboy Action Shooting and being a member of the Single Action Shooting Society with his registered name of “Okiegunslinger”.  Hunting anywhere or on his Ranch with family & friends was truly his favorite pastime.

For almost 25 years, he’s been sporting Christine around on the back of one of his Harleys. A solid 20 plus years driving the family back-and-forth to the Lake House working tirelessly to keep us all up and running on a boat, wave runners or golf cart to come back and watch him show off his master grilling skills.

Recently he made Diamond status for another favorite pass-time of going on Cruises with Christine (although it was all about the casino for him).

He was the proud Owner of Audio Plus and its “3 Cool Stores” for 32 years and OCS Commercial Properties for 22 years.

He certainly was, and anyone that knows him will attest, that he was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed.

Survived by his wife Christine Davis, Daughter Amanda Jameson, his six Grandchildren, Haley Wietelman, Brianna Wietelman, Billie Berry, Steven Jameson, Fisher Jameson and Laci Jameson, Father-in-Law Greg Ruch, Brother-in-Law Lynn Ruch, Niece Sheridan Ruch and a host of extended family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. on July 12, 2024 at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Services will be held at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 13 at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma for family and close friends only.

Billy was one of a kind. He was a very successful business man but he was an even better person. Would give you the shirt off his back. So giving. He was all about taking care of his family. Gonna miss you brother.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to everyone Billy was an amazing man, husband, father, a great boss to me that so many years ago and promoted me from just a salesman to the driest General Manager of Audio Plus but then it was 4 stores before the “3 Cool Stores”. I loved that man and I’m deeply saddened by his untimely passing!!

Christine & Amanda I’m so very very sorry and I’m sending you prayers, hugs and love!!

I didn’t get to meet Billy but what a legacy he has left behind. His daughter is a friend of mine and one of the most kind hearted people I know. Praying for your family and look forward to hearing your memories that will never be forgotten.

Just want to say how proud I was of Billy Ron. He and Christene built a wonderful life for themselves and were always gracious to others. I know he had a tough upbringing but didn’t let that hold him back. They are both very loving and giving. Proud to call both family. Billy will be missed dearly but I know he was welcomed home by Jesus and that was his best accomplishment. Rest in peace “Cuz” . We Love you and will see you again one day .

Billy was one of the 1st people in Oklahoma whom I considered a “friend” after moving here 10 years ago. He & Christine would go out of their way to talk with and encourage us when we were at ball games together. They went above and beyond friendship a few years later when they offered their home to our family during a time of sudden loss. What an amazing example of someone who always gave of himself. The world has lost one of its few, true super heroes. Already I miss his stories and pictures of hunting trophies. Love you buddy – much respect to you & prayers to Christine and family.

Met Billy and Christine on a cycle trip to Yellowstone. Billy was like someone I had known all my life so friendly and caring.

  10. One of my favorite memories of Billy was when we were on a bike trip out west and Don Bingham and I were standing in a Walmart staring at a locked glass case that contained several high end bottles of liquor’ specifically a 15 year old $125 bottle of scotch. Being lovers of scotch we were discussing how great it would be to taste something like that but justifying the price was out of our budgets even if we split it. Billy had been standing behind us listening to our dialog and he stepped forward and said’ “hey if you guys want to drink this, I’ll buy it!” We offered to chip in on it but he wouldn’t hear it. We tried to share it but he didn’t like the taste. That was Billy…several times during that trip if you were sitting at Billy and Christine’s table he would pick up the check for the table before any of us was aware. Your life was too short Brother but your legacy will live on. You will be missed. Steve and Janet Davidson
